TAKE-OFF:
- maintain the stick on center until 30 mph (IAS) and then make a little press to front to acquire a horizontal attitude;
- At 60 mph pull the stick to leave the ground;
- Set throttle to 2,100 rpm and maintain 65 mph - climb at 600-700 fpm.
CRUISE:
- 80 mph IAS at 5,000 ft, RPM=2,100.
LANDING:
- Decrease throttle to idle and set speed to 60 mph. This configuration will result in a vertical speed around -500 fpm.
- With crossed wind, set throttle to 1,500 rpm and maintain speed in 70 mph.
- Avoid touchdown with a VSI > -100 fpm.
